Responsibilities

The Electroencephalographic Technician Assistant supports the Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy Monitoring Technologists at Mayo Clinic by preparing patients for electrographic studies and performing such other tasks that are necessary for patient comfort and safety while the patient is being evaluated in the Department of Epilepsy.



Qualifications

The minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or GED. Additional work experience in a patient contact, health-care area is desirable.
Ability to adhere to policies and procedures, alertness, interaction, versatility, coping, and commitment to task.

Schedule Details

Supplemental call in schedule. Listed for Monday-Friday 0500-0700 or 1630-2100. Call in to confirm need prior to shift.

Weekend Schedule

Working 2 out of every 3 weekends. 1st weekend is 0830-1500. The following weekend is from 1500-2000. The third weekend off. When working a weekend, the Monday and Friday around the worked weekend is listed as off.
