If you receive a job offer via email only and have not been interviewed by the KGS hiring manager, feel free to contact_ _KGSrecruiting@koniag-gs.com_ _to verify its validity._ Koniag Professional Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a PRN Occupational Health RN to support KPS and our government customer in Camp Springs, MD. **_This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity._** **Work Hours:** + 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, weekdays only **Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:** + Provide emergency medical response for life-threatening conditions, including basic life support and use of AED. + Administer emergency medications while awaiting EMS arrival. + Provide walk-in care for minor illnesses and injuries, both work and non-work related. + Administer routine adult immunizations according to CDC guidelines (e.g., Td, Tdap, Influenza, pneumococcal vaccines). + Provide destination-specific travel health information and consultations + Administer care prescribed by employees' personal physicians, including medication administration, blood pressure and glucose monitoring, wound care, and periodic bedrest. + Perform health screenings for vision, blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, and heart disease risk factors. + Manage the designated lactation space, including regular cleaning of the room and equipment. + Participate in annual Wellness Expo and Benefits Fairs, hosting an information table on wellness and preventative information. + May provide one-hour health and wellness trainings on lifestyle illness prevention and wellness services. + Maintain confidentiality and complete health records of services provided. + Provide report to regular staff + Maintain medical equipment and supplies + Maintain professional appearance and conduct, adhering to all government regulations, policies, and procedures. + Maintain required certifications, licenses, and credentials. **Education, Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:** + Bachelor’s degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing recognized by the National League for Nursing + Successful completion and passing score on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) + Current active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license to practice in Maryland + Minimum of three years of post-graduation clinical experience as a RN providing direct patient care + Occupational Health Experience desired + Experience providing health and wellness trainings + Ability to draw blood/process blood specimens. + Must possess a current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)/AED training for healthcare providers approved by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross + Possess computer skills with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams + Pre-employment background check mandatory + Must have the ability to pass government agencies background investigation + Current public trust desired + Must exhibit excellent customer service and team collaboration skills. **Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy** The company is an equal opportunity employer.
