**About this role:**
We are seeking a Pediatric Psychiatry Advance Practice Provider to work with our team of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals committed to providing quality pediatric behavioral healthcare in a brand-new pediatric Crisis Center. The Crisis Center will be opening in September 2025 as part of Primary Children’s Behavioral Health Center in Taylorsville, Utah. The center will be the first walk-in crisis assessment center for youth in the state of Utah. In addition to providing 24-7 access to evidence-based crisis assessments, the center will also provide observations beds for youth and families that need additional time to stabilize.
This is a PRN, or as-needed, opportunity and hours worked will vary dependent on patient care needs and the APP's availability. Pediatric Psychiatry APP will generally take shifts in 12-hour increments, which may include some days, weekends, holidays, and evenings. They will be responsible for providing medical screening exams, psychiatric consultation, and admission and discharges.

**What you’ll bring:**
+ Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) ORBoard certification as a Physician Assistant, with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Psychiatry (CAQ-Psych)
+ Active, unobstructed Utah APRN or PA license and Controlled Substance license, or the ability to obtain prior to starting employment
+ Federal DEA Certificate II-IV
+ BLS Provider certification
+ Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
+ Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
+ Preferred: Prior pediatric psychiatry experience is highly valued.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$60.33 - $93.08
