Cleveland Clinic's H81 Internal Medicine/Telemetry offers a specialized four-bed unit within our 36-bed footprint that caters to patients who are confused and/or suffer from hospital induced dementia and benefit from closer monitoring. Your support as an RN allows for them to return to baseline cognition. In this role, you are exposed to cutting-edge patient care, technology and innovation. For newly graduated nurses, working on H81 can help develop and strengthen your nursing knowledge foundation. We are the perfect place to hone critical thinking skills, time management, prioritization and delegation. 

A caregiver in this position varying shifts from 7:00PM - 7:00AM and 7:00AM - 7:30PM.  

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

Provide direct nursing care. Implement and monitor patient care plans.  Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.  Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.  Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing  Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)External applicants require two years of recent related nursing experience  Internal applicants with less than two years’ experience, but post orientation/90-day probationary period, considered with Chief Nursing Officer level review and approvalMilitary RN experience considered

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
