Hours and Location:
We are located at: 1500 Lee St. Suite 100, Alexandria, LA 71301. This pharmacy serves the local community: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
As a PRN Pharmacist on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you’ll contribute to a community’s well-being, act as a trusted advisor to patients, and ensure pharmacy operations are efficient, effective, and continually improving while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management. (The PRC role is an on call, backup for the PIC on vacation / sick days, etc. type of role)
Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy counseling services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence. Build effective relationships to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients. Embrace a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and a drive for continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development. Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more.The above information describes the general nature and level of work performed in the role. What You’ll Bring:
Basic Qualifications:
Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy. Pharmacist license current and in good standing in the Louisiana.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes.
