Job Description Summary:
Logan Health is seeking a skilled Procedural Scheduler to join our dynamic Oncology team. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to navigate complex scheduling scenarios.This position performs scheduling services and administrative support to enhance the function of the assigned area(s) to provide optimal patient care and ensure a seamless patient experience.
PRN This position is offered a per-need (PRN) basis, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance. As a PRN employee, you will work on an ad-hoc basis, as needed to support the organization's operational requirements. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a part-time or flexible work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
Experience: Previous experience in healthcare scheduling, preferably in a hematology/oncology setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in imaging, clinic, or infusion scheduling.Patient Coordination: Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate scheduling.Prioritization: Prioritize tasks and manage a high volume of appointments, adapting to changing priorities and urgent requests.Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, ensuring optimal patient flow and minimizing delays.Attention to Detail: Accurately input and maintain patient information, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the oncology team to optimize patient care and streamline processes.Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in healthcare scheduling, preferably in a hematology/oncology setting.Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic health records (EMRs) and scheduling software.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex scheduling issues and develop effective solutions.Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and evolving workflows.Join our team and make a difference in the lives of cancer patients.
