PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Procedure Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and execution of pre-commissioning testing programs and start-up engineering procedures. This role requires expertise in developing and coordinating start-up procedures across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with Worley’s commitment to delivering sustainable change. The individual is expected to be a technical expert, providing consultation to engineering and construction site management while driving efficiency and innovation in the execution of projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, implement, and oversee pre-commissioning and start-up engineering procedures, ensuring alignment with industry standards and Worley’s sustainability objectives. Provide expert consultation to engineering teams and construction site management to enhance project execution and operational excellence. Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously, making independent decisions and recommendations to optimize efficiency and project outcomes. Interpret and organize complex technical data, ensuring that procedures adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting challenges that arise during the pre-commissioning and start-up phases. Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams to drive integrated, data-centric solutions that support Worley’s ambition of sustainability leadership. Engage with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and seamless coordination across projects to maintain alignment with organizational objectives. Contribute to the development and enhancement of systems, processes, and tools that improve operational efficiency and support sustainable transformation.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSET

A university degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline, or an equivalent trade qualification with extensive industry experience. Demonstrated expertise in pre-commissioning and start-up engineering, with a strong understanding of the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors. Extensive experience in managing and coordinating complex projects, with the ability to make high-impact decisions independently. Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities, with a focus on fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing within project teams. Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical information and develop effective solutions. Proficiency in industry-standard systems, processes, and tools, with the ability to assist others and contribute to system enhancements. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders on complex matters, leveraging expertise to drive project success. A commitment to sustainability and innovation, aligning with Worley’s ambition to lead in sustainable solutions and project execution.
