We are looking for you to join our team as a Process Area Manager of Assembly 3 based out of Sunnyvale, CA.
What you will get to do:
Direct all aspects and phases of final assembly, post-test inspection and preparation for shipment.Responsible for the cost and schedule performance of Operations programs or subsystems of major programs in the various assembly areas.Monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, cost performance to budgets, identifies process problems and develops solutions, and provides cost and schedule performance data/status for programs in assembly.Thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations and a collaborative work approach.Direct the work of Supervisors and Employees.Support safety initiatives.Interface with Employee Union representatives as required for their areas of responsibility.The ideal candidate will have experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost, and achieving all requirements, as well as demonstrated success aligning teams, organizations, or employee resource groups to achieve a common goal. They will have experience and be proficient in developing, manipulating, and presenting complex data to executive staff.
Basic Qualifications for a Process Area Manager of Assembly 3:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; OR a master's degree with 6 or more years of relevant experience.5 or more years of direct people leadership experience.MRP/ERP experience.EVMS and CAM experience.Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.US Citizenship required.This position requires the individual to work a 4 day, 10 hour schedule that spans Thursday through Sunday.Preferred Qualifications for a Process Area Manager of Assembly 3:
Previous experience with complex manufacturing assembly.Previous experience with United States Navy propulsion plant components.Previous experience with quality control, dimensional control and non-destructive testing is desired.Government contracting/DOD Program experience and fixed price production experience are preferred.Experience in metal fitting and welding processes, general machining and precision large industrial assembly.Experience using SAP in a production environment.Experience Managing Large Department Budgets.Current or active security clearance.Salary Range: $154,600.00 - $231,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
