Responsibilities
JEs, Accrual Processing and Other GA Activities:
Prepare, Ensure Completeness and Post per Threshold
Prepare and submit for review routine and recurring Journal entries
Maintain supporting documentation electronically
Post entries after HSH review
Journal Entries maintain supporting
Post close analysis of GR/IR
Prepare e-Buy reports
Plan and schedule close meetings
Update corporate lease databases
Facilitate Census reporting
Financial Statement analysis
Contribute to close status update
Perform bank reconciliations in T-recs
Reconciliations:
Complete, file supporting documentation, identify, investigate, implement submit
Identify reconciliations for Genpact
Obtain documentation for reconciliations
Perform reconciliations in T-recs or in Excel
Investigate un-reconciled items
Submit completed reconciliation for review
Deduction processing and Payroll Production Processing (for 3rd party payments:
Review miscellaneous payroll and union deductions
Make adjustments based on the deduction register
Review payroll deduction report
Validate accruals-retro wages computation
Submit check requests and supporting docs for review
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Specific accounting / similar process experience
Good knowledge of MS Office and experience in SAP
Bachelors Degree preferably in Accounting/Commerce
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Basic Accounting knowledge
Understand the basic accounting process/terms
Working knowledge of Relevant GAAP and MS Office
Ability to communicate verbally and through emails with businesses
Knowledge of computers including standard packages
