Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.The work model for the role is: #onsite . This position will be based on our customer site. This role is contributing to the Robotics business in Vietnam. Main stakeholders are will be our customer and project/site management team.You will be mainly accountable for:From Design to Inspection & Testing phase• Programming & Installation: Define communication protocols with engineers, perform simulations, prepare robot programs, and participate in installation, wiring, and quality audits.• Testing & Debugging: Conduct validation tests and document issues during FAT debugging and acceptance.On customer site• Plan commissioning and outsource resources for mechanical and robot parts.• Debug and troubleshoot, prepare FA reports, manage punch lists, and create SOPs.• Optimize robot programs, write alarm codes, and analyze cycle time, CPK, and OEE.• Interview and train outsourced manpower, and train operators on machine use.• Collaborate on DOE tests, analyze results, create maintenance plans, and attend customer meetings.

Qualifications for the role

You are skilled in working with ABB industrial robots and the electronics industry automation production line market.You have over 3 years of experience in the application of integrated projects in the electronics industry automation production line, with rich experience in machine process, mechanical/robot debugging.You possess an enhanced knowledge of the standards of major international and domestic OEMs or CMs (such as Apple, Samsung, LG, etc.).You are highly skilled in the configuration, online/offline programming, and robot simulation (RobotStudio simulation) of ABB industrial robots.You are passionate about proactive problem-solving and diligent work ethics, and you are innovative around team collaboration and self-management.You hold a Bachelor's degree or above in related fields such as mechanical, mechatronics, or automation.You are at ease communicating in English and have basic Chinese language skills.You hold current licenses valid in your job location and any required country-specific VISA/work permit.
