McCain Foods is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Cleaner to join our Timaru team. This hands-on role is crucial for maintaining the sanitation and cleanliness standards essential for our production processes.

 

The ideal candidate will ensure daily, weekly, and long-term sanitation requirements are met, promoting a safe and compliant environment, whilst working a 4 on, 4 off 12-hour day shift pattern.

 

The role

Support Process Operators in daily cleaning tasks, complete sanitation tasks for production changeovers, and execute deep cleaning tasks as per the Master Cleaning ScheduleUpdate and create supporting documentation as required

 

About you

Understanding of sanitation needs within a food processing environmentPrevious chemical awareness or handling would be beneficial but not essential, as full training will be providedAbility to understand and create/update documentationTeam player with strong people and communication skillsAbility to manage projects with a focus on results, logical thinking and problem solving
