Cleveland-Cliffs, Inc. Mansfield Plant is seeking a Process Control Engineer. The Process Control Engineer is responsible for our application and HMI Process Control systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial Process Control systems programming, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment with complex operations.
 
Summary of Responsibilities:

Design, programming, documentation, and support for the existing systemTransition systems from VMS-based platforms to virtual VMS and Windows platformsResponsible for addressing issues that may impact production or system reliabilityImplement system upgradesProactively handle quality and reliability issuesWork with vendors on products and performance issuesIdentify and manage activities necessary to maintain equipmentOther duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computing Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experienceAbility to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications:

2 to 5 Years of manufacturing Experience Process Automation EngineerVMS/Vax/Alpha experience.Net (VB, asp) ExperienceMicrosoft DevOps Experience
