ABOUT THE ROLE
\nWe are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be accountable for providing field service support for Honeywell HPS applications and products at customer locations primarily in the Lake Charles and Sulphur areas in Louisiana. Your main responsibilities will include:
\n\nPerforming maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation/commissioning, upgrades, and migration of complex/advanced Honeywell control systems such as EXPERION PKS and TPS/TDC300.\nBeing the primary face of Honeywell for the customer, accountable for the daily implementation, administration, and troubleshooting of the Honeywell HPS products installed at the customer location.\nDeveloping and maintaining strong people-oriented relationships with customer representatives and providing first response technical support.\nWorking closely with the Field Services Manager and LSS business functions to maintain and grow the business by identifying customer needs and providing solutions based on the HPS suite of products and services.\nTravel to the customer sites within the assigned territory/projects.\n\nKey Responsibilities
\n\nPerform DCS maintenance, including hardware and software components, field troubleshooting of common IO and loop problems, field troubleshooting of end devices, adding and deletion of TAGS/Points, and adding and modifying logic as per standard.\nWork with voltages up to 110VAC and 40VDC.\nConfigure, maintain, and solve Honeywell hardware and software issues, including Experion PKS and other DCS hardware/software such as LCN and TPS.\nLearn the end-to-end product/solution development and delivery/execution of Honeywell products and solutions.\nTroubleshoot network connections of Ethernet and coaxial cabling.\nModify and edit HMI graphics\nAct as the focal point for Honeywell with the customer, providing technical solutions.\nYou Must Have
\n\n4+ years of experience with DCS (Distributed Controls System) or PLC or Networking / Virtual System maintenance.\nAssociate degree in a Technical/Engineering Field.\n\nWe Value
\n\nBachelor's degree in Technical/Engineering field.\nPrevious experience in field service support for automation control systems, preferably with Honeywell HPS applications and products.\nStrong knowledge of Honeywell control systems, including EXPERION PKS and TPS/TDC300.\nExperience with Experion PKS Hardware & Software, in addition to Hiway, TDC, & TPS system experience including LCN, UCN, and Hiway equipment along with PC/Networking experience.\nExperience with 3rd party controls. - Experience in virtualization hardware/software, setup, and network configuration. - Knowledge of open systems such as microcomputers and networking technologies.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to clearly articulate messages both technical and non-technical.\nExperience and training in Honeywell applications such as TPS/PMIO, EPKS/Series C, advanced applications (PHD, etc.), safety systems (FSC/SM), HMI, and SCADA (PLCs, ladder logic, etc.).\nSelf-motivated and willing to work in demanding environments with little or no supervision.
