**Senior Specialist – Manufacturing Automation**
Join our team as a Senior Specialist – Manufacturing Automation and become an integral part of our manufacturing division. This role offers an exciting opportunity to serve as a technical control system subject matter expert and mentor, leading the creation of value enablers for the DeltaV product new implementation and sustenance for worldwide manufacturing sites. **Responsibilities**
+ Minimum education is Bachelor’s (BS/BE) engineering, computer science, or other science discipline
+ 5+ years' experience in automation, process control or related field
+ Provide DeltaV DCS architecture, roadmaps and standards to global manufacturing facilities
+ Establish, maintain, and promote global technical standards and best practices and software code sets for DeltaV DCS Process Control systems across our company network to drive efficiencies in deployment, system maintenance, and total cost reduction of system ownership
+ Clearly define and measure the objectives and key results of value delivery
+ Collaborate with site automation and business customers in a highly dynamic environment to evolve the DeltaV product offerings and grow internal DeltaV DCS subject matter expertise
+ Work alongside corporate security professionals to develop and constantly evolve security standards for DCS systems
+ Develop strategies to optimize and ensure the quality and stability of process automation systems through future expansion, replacement, or upgrade
+ Engage system vendor in developing new technologies within the Emerson and ecosystem
+ Keep abreast of latest advancement in DeltaV DCS technology as well as the process control industry
+ Lead in developing control strategies and apply computerized tools that will deliver tangible improvements to overall production unit performance
+ Sustain a strong support and communication network of process control system administrators to ensure awareness, consistency and across all of the enterprise systems
+ Act as technical lead for initiatives and projects within our process control network
+ Provide support in the installation and configuration of a diverse range of interfaces to ensure seamless integration and efficient operation within the system
+ Experiment with complementary products and technologies
+ Contribute well-structured, tailored and practical technical information to a knowledge management system
+ Convey the different process control architectures including but not limited to virtual servers, operator interface practices, code development best practices, controller and I/O options
+ Analyze complex business requirements using tools and techniques and identify internal/external solutions to meet these requirements
+ Participate and/or lead investigations of process control system anomalies to prevent recurrence
+ Deeply understand and support GMPs, safety, and environmental regulations
**Qualifications**
_Required_
+ Deep understanding of process control systems architecture and control system administration using standard and customized monitoring tools including associated processes and tracking
+ Proficient with Emerson DeltaV system standards, Knowledge Base Articles, Best Practices, Cybersecurity and Guardian support capabilities
+ Significant experience with project execution in technical SME role for DeltaV System upgrade
+ Extensive knowledge of interfaces (OPC, MODBUS)
+ Experience with DeltaV Live, DeltaV hardware components including Charms I/O
+ Ability to understand, update, design and analyze code modifications in DeltaV
+ Extensive experience with DeltaV DCS administration system design, start-up and/or qualification
+ A high level of innovation, creativity, ownership and self-initiative
+ Desire and willingness to learn, contribute and lead
+ Experience providing technical mentorship
+ Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
+ Excellent organizational skills to work on multiple projects
+ Able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
+ Experience providing project level direction to contractors and/or third-party vendor staff
+ Strong knowledge of S88 model and familiarity with S95 model from ERP to shop floor instrumentation
+ Experienced problem solver/troubleshooter, skilled in root cause analysis
+ Ability to prepare Technical Implementation Standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and cGMP documents
+ Strong analytical thinking and technical writing skills
+ Familiarity with US and EU GMP and Safety compliance regulations
_Preferred_
+ GMP manufacturing experience
+ Technical design on middle to large capital projects
+ Project Management experience with large capital projects
+ Familiarity with Agile project development practices, Jira, Confluence
+ Aveva PI, Dynatrace, Qualys, Ansible or other monitoring platforms
+ Strong background in IT systems; specifically, integration of Automation systems with IT systems
+ Networking experience; working knowledge of Enterprise Networking and local control networks
+ Experience with Quality Systems

**U.S. Hybrid Work Model**
