Process Control Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturer based in Santa Paula, CA, is seeking a Process Control Technician to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing MRP and ERP systems to manage process control data, ensuring accuracy and consistency in manufacturing operations. This is a key position that involves entering data from quotes (RFQs), setting up part numbers and routings, and supporting change management processes.

Responsibilities:

Use MRP and ERP tools to input and manage process control data, including quotes (RFQs) and quoted information, ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date.Set up part numbers and routings in the ERP system as required, ensuring timely entry and accurate information.Investigate, implement, and maintain the Change Management/ECO process, coordinating all aspects of review and changes.Recommend and implement improvements to databases, methods, operations, and work procedures.Analyze data and prepare detailed reports. Use ERP tools to verify and correct data, and issue communications related to profitability checks.Compose, format, and maintain a variety of documents, including forms, work instructions, and policies, using office equipment and software applications like spreadsheets and databases.Maintain and update databases with necessary forms, policies, and procedures that require approval or revision control.Support other departments with data entry, report generation, and analysis. Provide backup for co-workers when necessary.Coordinate email communications, maintain up-to-date training records, and communicate lessons learned to designated team members.Provide support to the engineering team for rate checks and process capabilities, ensuring alignment with manufacturing goals.

Requirements:

Strong computer skills, including fast typing and proficiency with ERP and MRP systems.Experience with manufacturing work instructions is preferred.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Highly organized with strong attention to detail.Ability to read and interpret blueprints (preferred, but not required).Prior data entry experience and familiarity with spreadsheet/database applications.

Monday to Friday$19.00 - $22.00
