As a Process Control Engineer, you will play in integral role throughout the plant and will be responsible for crafting, managing, and implementing process control projects to continually improve efficiency, product quality, cost and reliability and safety! In this position, you will use automation hardware and software solutions to continuously improve processes working in our Delaware, Ohio Plant. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the planning, organization, and implementation of engineering projects within constraints of specific objectives and target dates.Identify and stay up to date on new trends in the controls field that could benefit the organization while identifying and coordinating training initiatives for relevant staff.Assess the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering tests/products/equipment.Interpret principles, theories, and concepts of process control engineering to solve problems and make design recommendations.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an Electrical Engineering related field of study3+ years of proven experience in automated controls in a manufacturing environment.Experience with Allen Bradley PLC, iFix HMI, and Networking is highly sought after.Proven understanding of electrical circuits with the ability to design and experience in project managementPPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
