Title: Process Controls Engineer

Location: West Allis, WI (hybrid)



Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized and employee-owned professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth. We are currently seeking an experienced Process Controls Engineer in West Allis, WI, to support our growing portfolio in the Food and Beverage market. This role involves working on critical projects that contribute to the design, programming, and commissioning of state-of-the-art process control systems, helping leading food and beverage companies operate more efficiently and sustainably.


What You’ll Be Doing:

·      Design instrumentation and controls systems.

·      Program PLC and HMI systems.

·      Design control panels and integrate electrical systems for process equipment.

·      Participate in field testing, including I/O verification, operational readiness testing, functional & performance testing.

·      Provide commissioning, training, and startup services for designed and constructed systems.

·      Travel to client facilities as needed for controls engineering tasks and commissioning.

Qualifications:

B.S. degree (or higher) in engineering (chemical, electrical, or mechanical) or related field. At least 4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Experience:

Proficiency with PLCs (Rockwell, Modicon, Siemens, etc.), HMI development, and Microsoft Office. Experience in the Food and Beverage industry and with food & beverage processes. Experience in construction or engineering consulting is a plus.
