Process Controls Engineer
Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a Controls Engineer to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of various Process Control Systems, including the Distributed Control System (DCS). The Controls Engineer will develop and implement long-range plans for Process Control within the facility, maintain the reliability of Control Systems for Environmental Compliance, and interface with the plant's Technical and Operating Departments to identify opportunities for increased throughput, reduced waste, and improved energy efficiency.

Chemical manufacturing experience is desired.DCS programming experience (ABB preferred, open to others).Knowledge of alarm rationalization.Work Environment

Our team is committed to innovation and sustainability, leading the way in lithium-ion battery technology and beyond. The company is currently handling 69 projects and is expanding by 50% with plans for continued growth over the next two years. The team includes 7 engineers, a procurement manager, a construction engineer, and a project manager. This team handles all capital projects for the plant, from equipment repair to optimization and improvements. Flexible management allows for remote work availability one day a week. Long-term contract work is available, and per diem is offered for non-local candidates.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $80.00/hr.
