Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opportunity for a Process Coordinator Maintenance at our Burns Harbor location. The ideal candidate would manage, lead, and direct the electrical maintenance hourly workforce in a designated area across a 24-hour operation in our Plate Mill. They will coordinate all maintenance activities on assigned shifts or multiple shifts within a single operations department or unit. They will be responsible for safety, housekeeping, turn operations, breakdown response, maintenance planning, and downturn work execution as outlined below.

Minimum Qualifications:
Three (3) years’ experience as a front-line maintenance supervisor in a heavy industrial environment.Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/electrical engineering technology or High school diploma/GED and five (5) years front-line maintenance supervisory experience.Preferred Qualifications:
Three (3) years’ experience as a front-line maintenance supervisor in a heavy industrial environment, preferably in a steel or Plate rolling facility.Knowledge of industrial power equipment – transformers, switchgear –up to 13.8kv DC&AC drives, including variable speed AC drives Programmable Logic Controllers.Experience with managing electrical upgrade projects.Experience scheduling and managing unionized labor workforce.Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
