Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing chemical processes for new and existing products, conducting process simulations and modeling to optimize production efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless process integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct process design and safety reviews.Implement process improvements to enhance yield, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.Design and develop chemical processes for new and existing products.Perform process simulations and modeling to optimize production efficiency.Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality control teams.Perform process hazard analyses and implement safety measures.Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures.Troubleshoot process issues and provide technical support to production teams.Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.Safety Responsibilities:
Lead in setting safety expectations and standards for the department.Support and promote the initiatives of the Responsible Care Management System.Lead/participate in Preliminary Hazard Reviews, Process Hazard Analysis, and Operational Readiness Inspections.Lead/participate in root cause investigation of safety incidents.Lead/participate in daily tailgate meetings and SHREQ subcommittees.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $55.00/hr.
