Process Developer

Inviting applications for the role of Process Developer, Surcing and Procurement
In this role, Handles inventory valuation process for moderate to complex countries/entities
Responsibilities
Month-end Closing
· Performs Material Ledger Closing (SAP) / FIFO Closing (S2K) and resolve any issues
that may arise
· Perform FIFO pre and post-steps (depends on the entity and timing of activity)
· Reviews Material Ledger and Profit in Inventory (PII) for SAP entities
· Performs Inventory reconciliation and investigate material variances
· Check GIT report and send to relevant stakeholders
· Prepare other inventory related reports such as SOS, PII, Interco and Export PL,
LCUC, CAS, etc. (scope varies per country)
· Prepare Managed Assent Report and send to Controllers for sign-off
· Performs and presents Inventory Movement Analysis during FSR call
· Performs other quarter and annual tasks during month-end closing (e.g. PC reclass,
NRV rate upload, Negative inventory adj, etc.)
Journal Entries
S2K
· Prepare and raise accruals such as D-flag/IIT and Goods-In-Transit (GIT) accruals
· Reviews and requests posting of MCA journals and GL Reclass for S2K countries
· Prepare and raise SOS entries
SAP
· Park JVs on SAP
· Prepare and raise entries such as Inbound Freight reclass, Handling JV, ERSA, ICO
Margin reclass, and FIFO Revaluation entry.
Applicable to both S2K and SAP
· Prepare and raise Inventory/FIFO adjustment entries
· Prepare and raise Net Realizable Value (NRV) and Non-Working Inventory (NWI)
accrual
· Prepare other journals related to inventory and PL accounts (as needed)
· Ensure completeness of supporting docs of journals (i.e. basis for calculation,
approvals, JV Templates, etc.)
Calculate Inventory Unit Cost (S2K)
· Analyze unit cost on SKU level and coordinate to relevant stakeholder for material
variances.
· Review and update/upload unit cost in the system (CS11, CS19, CS23, CS28, ITH, etc.)
· Perform PCDUCS costing which may include Month end closing task and resolution of
erros.
Weekly Soft Close and Pre-Monthend check
Perform Enhanced Soft Close – Exceptions Report Analysis. Make proper judgement
and recommendation based on findings.
· Prepare ICO Margin and PPV Analysis. Communicate results to local stakeholders and
COE team.
· Review Automated Weekly/Monthly Soft-Closing (pre-close)
· Clean up of process orders with collaboration with Plant Accounting
· Performs OIM Clearing (Inventory, GRIR, FMD accounts)
· Approve MR11 depending on the amount granted per level as per global guidelines
· Prepares and sends PL-FIFO Mismatch Reports. Provides initial investigation and
recommendation to AP team.
Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
· Submits Balance Sheet Recon on Blackline on a monthly or quarterly basis depending
on the risk assessment of the account and entity.
· Performs account reconciliation for Inventory, GRIR, FMD, and other transit accounts
related to inventory (accrual accounts).
· Identify and investigate variances, clean up ageing recon items
SOX and Compliance
· Assists in providing supporting documents requests from SOX / Auditors. Perform
related SOX controls and prepares evidences on a monthly basis.
Operational Rhythm (meetings)
· Participate and Facilitates in Daily Tier1/Huddles
· Attends and participate in pre-close, post-close, and BSR calls
· Participates and leads team engagements, pillar meetings, and department townhalls
Others
· Provides guidance to other colleagues (associates and analysts)
· Assists on conducting process walkthroughs within the team, local stakeholders, and
auditors
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
• Accounting or Finance-related degree. Solid financial accounting and internal control knowledge are required
• Experience in inventory or product costing process is preferred
• CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus
• Experience in Shared Service Center for multinational corporation is preferred
• Able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders in the organization
• Working knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Flexible for new assignment and willingness to learn. For example,
• ability to learn Legacy System (AS/400, PeopleSoft, etc.)
• Cross functional and cultural communication skills
• Detailed oriented and enjoys working with operational processes
• Highly client service and quality oriented mindset;
• Structured approach to effectively and efficiently planning own workload
• Able to perform tasks with minimal supervision
