Inviting applications for the role of Process Developer- Transport Management Function: IL
In this role you will be responsible for end-to-end transport operations management for the location. Work in a fast-paced environment, which includes daily scheduling and handling multiple routes, drivers, and deliveries.
Responsibilities
1) Transport Management
• Work in a fast-paced environment, which includes daily scheduling and handling multiple routes, drivers, and deliveries.
• Able to handle work under pressure.
• Open to work on 24x7 shifts.
• Effective resource with excellent geographical knowledge, has learnt the Routing Process and started delivering what was expected and achieving / sustaining highest Overall VU %age without routing complaint from employees.
• Assign vehicles to vendor supervisors, drivers to routes and handle employee’s complaints on Ground.
• Managing the transport Metrics like VU, OTA, OTD etc. for the location.
• Should be aware on vehicle documentation part.
• Should be aware of basic knowledge on vehicle road worthiness.
2) People Management/ Engagement:
• Crisis management and stakeholder Management
• Attending Employee Calls for Transport related queries and for the Logistical Support and responding to the escalations and resolving the issues at site level.
3) Vendor Management
• Regular check eye on Guards deployed on site.
• Monitor and report driver issues such as accidents, safety concerns, or licensing issues.
• Vendor Management.
• Ensure 100% cab compliance and adherence to Transport policy.
• Good command on Microsoft Excel/ Word and Power Point.
• Good in communication verbal as well as written.
• Ensuring Cab Compliance, cabs condition, House Keeping of Cabs, statuary Documents pertaining to Vendor Fleet used for employee transportation.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
• Graduate in any field
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Knowledge of transport management and transport tools.
• Experience in service industry is desirable.
• Should have a good grasp of contracts, policies and procedures related to IT and ITES
• Established ability to influence actions without direct leadership responsibility for teams or processes with a confirmed ability to build links within a matrixed environment (both cross-functionally and cross-business)
• Ability to lead and execute efficiently at all levels of the organization.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills - both written and verbal - with a confirmed ability to communicate to all "customers" internally and externally to the business
