For Takeda Ireland Ltd, we are looking for a 

Process Development Engineer (Packaging)

for a full-time permanent position at our location in Grange Castle, Lucan, Dublin, Ireland.

Our Process Development Engineer (Packaging) reports directly to the P2 Manufacturing Operations Manager. You will lead the introduction of innovative packaging products to P2 at TILGC. As a subject matter expert (SME) for packaging equipment and systems, you will provide invaluable insights and expertise. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting and optimizing secondary packaging operations at P2 TILGC.

Your tasks in detail:

Optimize and validate packaging processes, including vision and serialization systems.Lead feasibility assessments and technical reviews for new packaging formats and equipment.Optimize and validate packaging processes, including vision and serialization systems.Ensure regulatory compliance and communicate requirements to project teams.Lead capital projects for new equipment introduction.Conduct root cause analysis for packaging processes and manage change controls on Trackwise.Collaborate with QC, QA, CAPEX, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams for efficient troubleshooting.Provide technical direction to manufacturing personnel to ensure optimal operation.Investigate quality events, prepare deviation reports, and complete accurate documentation.Support a culture of fairness, transparency, and continuous improvement.Participate in 'on call' programs, engage in required training, and ensure team members are suitably trained.Uphold company standards, safety regulations, and foster a safe work environment.Adopt corporate values and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.Ensure completion of all SOPs, training, and assessments.Perform other tasks as directed by management.

Your profile: 

A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.A minimum of 3 years in Pharma Manufacturing, showcasing your industry expertise.Proven expertise in Secondary Packaging systems.Experience with Primary Packaging Systems, Vision Systems, and Serialisation Systems is highly desirable.Exceptional abilities in planning, scheduling, and prioritization, ensuring efficient project management.Strong documentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related systems.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively to meet organizational goals.A proactive, safety-focused mindset, ensuring all operations adhere to the highest safety standards.
