Process Documentation Manager
Description We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Process Documentation Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role focuses on documenting and refining processes within the Accounting and Finance departments to enhance operational efficiency and training materials. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency in process documentation while identifying opportunities for improvement. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to analyze and document existing processes and workflows. • Create detailed narratives that outline process steps, decision points, and system dependencies. • Incorporate clear visuals, such as screenshots and flowcharts, to improve the usability of documentation. • Ensure all process documentation adheres to internal standards and is regularly updated. • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend actionable solutions during the documentation phase. • Develop training materials based on documented processes to support team education. • Organize and maintain a centralized repository for all documentation. • Work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to validate and refine process details. • Utilize tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar software to create comprehensive process diagrams. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. • Proven experience in process documentation or business analysis within a financial environment. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes, including AP, AR, GL, and financial reporting. • Ability to articulate complex workflows in clear and concise written formats. • Proficiency in creating visual aids such as flowcharts and diagrams using tools like Lucidchart or Visio. • Familiarity with accounting systems such as D365, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms. • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
