Overview

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our US Minerals and Metals team in Henderson, NV.

Your role

Developing process engineering deliverables, such as:

Heat and mass balance development using HSC-Sim and METSIM software products

Trade-off studies and technology selection

Process description

Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) development

Pipe sizing

Data sheet and equipment specification development

Process Design Criteria

Control narratives 

About you

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Metallurgical Engineering, or Materials Engineering.

Minimum of four years' experience since B.S.; three years’ experience since M.S.

Experience in the following areas are essential:

Technical report writing

Familiarity with Flowsheet development

Familiarity with off-gas handling units and off-gas characteristics

Working knowledge of Design calculations / Equipment sizing

Familiarity with process control basis

Awareness of Health, safety and Environment (HSE)

Heat and mass balance development using HSC-Sim and METSIM software products.

Trade-off studies and technology selection

Process description

Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) development

Pipe sizing

Data sheet and equipment specification development

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience in Gold Extraction is highly desired
