Responsible for the optimization of productivity by implementing and testing new procedures. The Process Engineer owns and maintains process documents and oversees and assesses the current processes and workflows against specification. Key accountabilities are:
1. Puts in place a set of process standards, procedures and specifications for the processes in operations, for example, WI, JA, specs, OCAP, FMEA, TCN.
2. Monitors process performance on yield, impact and reliability that affect the committed output of Supply Chain. Guarantees that the operational processes are within the defined capacity and that qualification is in place to test process during a major downtime event.
3. Provides guidance to a small number of technicians during sustaining or evaluation activities.
4. Analyzes operational issues and recommends a solution for simple to moderate problems within area of responsibility utilizing problem solving tools such as RCA, CAPAR, 8D, 7QC charts etc.
5. Engages with Advanced Engineering for the anticipation of new technologies
6. Delivers the technical leadership on a project assigned and the coordination of milestones to key resources and stakeholders.
7. Collaborates within the organization and with external suppliers through Quality Engineering and Procurement for product criteria, yield performance and insights on technology gaps
