Join us as our new Process Engineer This position works under general direction and is primarily responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. The Process Engineer is responsible for commissioning manufacturing equipment and ensuring equipment operates and performs as intended. In this role you'll make an impact by: + Championing safety, quality, compliance, efficiency, and change management in all activities while assisting in the development of manufacturing processes and implementing change controls for projects. + Training technicians and operators following process changes and evaluating manufacturing processes for improvement opportunities. + Improving manufacturing efficiency by analyzing workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout, and using systematic problem-solving techniques to correct issues and develop improvements. + Supporting the Global Engineering team as a Site Engineering representative and assisting the Maintenance team with preventative maintenance and spare parts information. + Assuring product and process quality by designing monitoring and measurement methods and assisting with product reliability improvement projects. + Assisting manufacturing decision-making by calculating production, labor, and material costs and working in a cross-functional setting for making improvements. + Preparing product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, and maintaining product and company reputation by complying with government regulations. + Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and conferences, and being available to work extended hours and occasional weekends as projects permit. To succeed you must hold: + Ability to read, write, and speak English, and to read and write technical documents that are easily understood by Operators, Technicians, etc. + Project management experience preferred, with demonstrated technical competence in a manufacturing environment. + Ability to communicate knowledge of processes, equipment, and facilities to peers and colleagues from other departments, with strong technical writing skills to effectively communicate with clarity and precision. + Basic knowledge of lean principles and systemic problem-solving (A3’s, SPS’s), and must be self-directed and able to multi-task and prioritize. + Enthusiastic, cooperative, and have a positive attitude. + Basic mathematical skills to analyze data and perform calculations, with a basic understanding of process flow diagrams and technical literature. + Proficient with MS Office and other basic IT systems. + Basic knowledge in production systems/enterprise resource planning (e.g., SAP). + These characteristics may be acquired through a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, and one to three (+) years of experience in a manufacturing environment (cGMP experience preferred). #LI-Onsite Could our purpose be yours?
