Aerospace Machine Shop hiring Process Engineer with quality mindset
Description:
Process Planning:
• Develop detailed process plans for aerospace machined parts, considering factors such as material
selection, machining methods, tolerances, and equipment capabilities
• Create and manage process documentation, including manufacturing work instructions and technical
documentation
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure process plans are practical, cost-effective, and aligned with
production capabilities.
Quality Planning:
• Establish quality control plans for machined components, ensuring adherence to aerospace industry
standards (AS9100, ISO 9001) and customer specifications.
• Define inspection criteria and measurement techniques for critical features of parts, including the use of
CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), and other precision tools.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and customer-specific quality requirements throughout the production
cycle.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive records of process plans, quality plans, inspection results, and production data.
• Prepare and present regular reports on process performance, quality metrics, and improvement initiatives to
management and stakeholders.
