To strengthen our team in Allentown, we are looking for you as a(n) Process Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Provide training of all employees on the assigned process trains to ensure safe, quality, timely production to meet customer demand Ensure all process changes, upgrades and issues (ie breakdowns) are communicated to the affected employees. Ensure appropriate EHS&S practices/policies are followed Work with support groups to safely satisfy customer demand. Develop and maintain complete, current and accurate EOI's, JSA's, and other Standard Work documents. Perform continual optimization of process train through the use of six-sigma, 5S, Lean, WOS and other tools / programs to improve yield, quality and reduce cost. Evaluate operator suggestions for improved operation and execution of operator suggestions that make operational and economic sense. Ensure sustainment of any improvement activities. Comply with and enforce all company systems and procedures including management of change, relevant external certification programs, safety code of conduct, plant and department rules, safety SOP's, emergency action manuals, etc. Coordination with Engineering and Maintenance to maintain equipment, improve uptime and realize investments. Equipment and process troubleshooting Coordinate with maintenance and contractors to perform defined repairs and process changes. Maintain Epicor BOM's and routings Design fixtures & tooling Document and improve cell / department flow Create drawings and process documentation, standards and specifications Support quality systems in adherence to ISO 13485
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in appropriate technical field. Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and perform statistical data analysis. Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Excellent project management skills. Have a good mechanical aptitude to conduct root cause analysis / incident investigation and troubleshoot for quality and equipment issues Have good interpersonal skills Have strong time management skills.
