Develop new processes and improve processes for greater quality, cost effectiveness, safety, and productivity. Provide process support for manufacturing through problem solving, machinery development and improvement, new process equipment design, and systems. Works specifically on any additional projects assigned by the Supervisor. Interact with production line personnel to determine process problems. Examine the manufacturing process to find better, simpler, and reliable improvements. Design new equipment and upgrades made to current equipment. Identify equipment that reduces cost and improves productivity, quality, and safety. Design techniques, tools, and principles involved with manufacturing equipment and processes. Establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.Your Credentials:
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant Engineering experience. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required. Knowledge of computers and various software, including CAD systems and MS Office. Knowledge of engineering practices, math, and sciences.The salary range for the position is $56K to $84K commensurate with experience and with bonus potential.
