An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Process Engineer to join our Technical Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations and play a key role in driving process improvement and innovation.
What you will do:
Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following:
Work closely with the Technical Team Leads to ensure the smooth operation of multiple small molecule processes.Supporting process start-ups, campaigns, and turnarounds across plants.Reviewing and approving paper & electronic batch records and automated recipes for various steps in the manufacturing process.Mentoring and supporting graduate and entry-level process engineers in managing their assigned processes during campaigns, ensuring adherence to yield, quality, and safety targets.Leading investigations into process-related issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.Identifying and implementing equipment and process improvements.Providing technical representation for major projects and participating in the URS, IQ, DQ, OQ, and PQ phases as needed.Collaborating with other departments such as Safety, QA, Projects, and Process Chemistry to ensure smooth production operations.Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, sharing technical expertise, and guiding complex projects.What skills you will need:
In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
A Science/Engineering Degree.At least 2 years of experience as a process engineer or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with small molecule API production experience.Experience in process modeling/simulation and/or data analytics would be advantageous.Proven self-motivation, ability to drive improvements, and inspire others.High personal integrity, credibility, and energy.Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of diverse teams.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome technical and chemical processing challenges.Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with individuals at all levels of the organization in a helpful and compliant manner.As a company, we are committed to ‘Inventing for Life’ in all that we do.
