Process Engineer

Job Summary

Process Engineer Lomagna

·       Responsible for development of new and improved process for custom polymer compounds. Responsible for scale up and process testing plan and procedure, data analysis, and communication of results. Primary contact with Manufacturing for writing and communication of production specifications. Requires three plus years direct, relevant experience with the ability to operate with little to no direction.

·       Coordinates with manufacturing partners to establish quality and testing conditions for established Avient products.

·       Participate in development of scale up, process testing plan and procedure, data analysis, and/or communication of results.

·       Documentation and preparation of product specifications for manufacturing Avient product.

·       Participates in resolution of plant production issues.

Education and Experience

·       Mechanical Engineer or Chemical Engineer

·       1 year of experience

Additional Qualifications

·       English

·       Excel: expert user

·       Lean Six Sigma certified preferred

·       CAD Certified user preferred
