Job Description SummaryThe process engineer will be responsible for chemical operation, fluoride ion cleaning(FIC), blasting, airflow testing and other special processes in the gas turbine component repairs. In this role, the Process Engineer would implement and qualify the new equipment and new technologies and drive the continuous improvement of the process.

Essential Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Drive processes excellence to continuously improve the safe, quality, delivery and costs and ensure compliance with all engineering specifications. Provide leadership and take ownership of assigned special processesResponsible for new capital equipment and facilitates recommendation, selection, installation and commissioningQualify new equipment or new process that will be approved by EngineeringDevelop a continuing quality and productivity improvement program on the assigned special processes for all applicable productsInterface with and contribute to other departments to ensure a totally integrated and effective approach to overall business plans and strategies

Qualifications/Requirements:

A Degree in Mechanical, Materials or Manufacturing Engineering from a local or internationally recognized universityAt least 3 years of engineering experience in related industryKnowledge of repair of Gas Turbine components and Plasma spraying coating will be advantageousExperience in Lean manufacturing would be advantageous (but not essential)
