Process Engineer
Job Title: Process Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Process Development Support Engineer to join our team in Burlington, NC. This role involves coordinating activities associated with Process Quality Engineering related to procedures and Quality Systems. The successful candidate will lead the development and improvement of standardized quality systems processes, ensuring compliance with design criteria, quality standards, and production requirements for aircraft engine parts and equipment. Responsibilities + Coordinate with multiple departments to create and revise procedural documentation related to general quality system processes. + Focus on manufacturing processes, including the implementation of process failure modes and effects analysis and measurement system analysis to confirm inspection capability. + Facilitate the connection of project teams to the quality system by helping teams understand quality systems requirements and assisting in the setup of project data for long-term execution and monitoring. + Perform risk assessments to prioritize corrective and mitigating actions related to product safety, including executing PFMEA on existing and emerging processes. + Independently conduct internal quality system audits and audits of special processes. + Manage special projects as assigned by Quality Management. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applicable work experience of three to five years in a manufacturing quality role, preferably in aerospace. + Advanced understanding of risk analysis techniques, including PFMEA. + Knowledge of machining and inspection processes with proven ability to implement and sustain statistical process controls. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $93000.00 16 national holidays, 3 weeks of paid time off, health, dental, vision, 401k 6%!
