Job Title: Process EngineerJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Process Engineer to work closely with North American manufacturing locations to define, scope, and implement a variety of cost-saving projects. The role involves scoping, implementing, vertical start-up, and formal equipment handover of all assigned capital acquisition projects. Using World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Early Equipment Management (EEM) methodology and tools, you will plan, design, develop, build, install, and start up assets. You will also continuously evaluate maintenance processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness, drive the implementation of new technologies and methodologies to improve equipment performance, and lead other projects and special assignments as required. Responsibilities + Define, scope, and implement cost-saving projects in manufacturing locations. + Scope, implement, start-up, and hand over all assigned capital acquisition projects. + Utilize WCM EEM methodology and tools to plan, design, develop, build, install, and start up assets. + Continuously evaluate maintenance processes and recommend improvements. + Drive the implementation of new technologies and methodologies to improve equipment performance. + Lead other projects and special assignments as required. Essential Skills + Manufacturing operation process development and implementation experience + Strong interpersonal and team-building skills with the ability to work in a team environment + Excellent project management and time management skills Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering) strongly preferred + 5+ years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment + Process improvement/optimization experience required + Experience with Google platform (Gmail, Sheets, Docs) + 1+ years of experience with AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (3D printing) Work Environment This position is onsite five days a week in Amana, Iowa. You will work closely with various manufacturing locations, focusing on top financial losses unique to each plant. Projects are pre-identified and assigned based on top losses. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
