Process Engineer Job Number: 354814 Category: Manufacturing Engineering Description: Job Title: Process Engineer Location: Indianapolis, IN Zip Code: 46203 Start Date: Right Away Job Type: Direct Pay Rate: $90K annually Schedule: 1st shift Keywords: #ProcessEngineer #EngineerJobs JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for creating, documenting, developing, and implementing procedures used to repair, assemble, process, test and/or manufacture of the company"s products and customer products. * Work with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing groups to identify needs for process improvements and provide engineering solutions to identified problems. * Track costs and create success stories for provided fixes * Work with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to implement tool use instructions into process routings * Ownership of product life cycle from PO receipt from Customer through shipment of product and maintain follow-on production. This includes BOM creation, tooling development, creating and maintaining processes using routings and operation sheets, providing shop technical support through development and production, providing procurement, inventory control, and quality through NPI cycle. * Ability to communicate both internally and externally with customers to relay technical information and provide program management support. * Follow quality system procedures as required REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be a US Citizen * Engineering degree * 5 years related experience is required; including prior tool design and process engineering experience * Strong background in machining, blueprint reading, GD&T, and specification interpretation. * Must possess 3D (Siemens NX) and AutoCAD experience. * Must possess knowledge of Microsoft office products (word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Must be able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines * Must possess leadership skills and be able to solve problems efficiently * Strong coordination, organization, teaming, project management, and communication abilities. * Knowledge of PPAP or other processes related to product introduction * Knowledge of part configuration using ERP/MRP software * Knowledge of measurement tools and methods (calipers, micrometers, height gages, dial indicators, CMM, etc.) Benefits: * Medical / Health Benefits with multiple plan options, Flexible Spending Accounts, Dental and Vision / glasses / prescription contact lens and eye test options available. * On the job training / cross-training to develop and expand skills, creating opportunity for advancement and personal development.
