Process Engineer
The Process Engineer II will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes. This role involves identifying process improvements, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Job Summary
+ Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes or improve existing manufacturing processes.
+ Collaborate with other engineers and production teams to optimize workflows and reduce downtime.
+ Conduct root cause analysis to identify inefficiencies or quality issues and develop corrective action plans.
+ Continuously monitor processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
+ Ensure that processes meet safety and quality standards.
+ Develop and maintain process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
+ Analyze and implement changes to reduce costs without compromising quality.
+ Work closely with procurement and production teams to find cost-effective solutions for materials, equipment and labor.
+ Collect, analyze, and interpret process data to monitor performance and inform decision-making.
+ Generate reports on process performance, improvement activities, and other key metrics.
+ Work with production, quality assurance, and other teams to ensure smooth execution of manufacturing processes.
+ Participate in cross-functional teams to development and implement new products and processes.
+ Ensure all processes adhere to regulatory standards and environmental guidelines.
+ Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
+ Performs other assignments as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical data, blueprints, specifications, etc.
+ Ability to respond appropriately to inquiries from colleagues, customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
+ Ability to apply advanced mathematical and statistical concepts.
+ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
+ Ability to manage numerous projects and meet deadlines as required.
+ Conscientious, organized and meticulous: records must be accurate and maintained.
+ Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.
+ Must be able to communicate effectively.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
+ Experience in electronics or contract manufacturing
+ Leadership skills are strongly preferred; the ability to influence others is essential.
+ Ability to write reports for distribution internally/external and/or publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
+ Ability to effectively present information to all levels of the organization and outside the organization.
+ Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
+ Ability to lead or facilitate Lean Enterprise initiatives.
Required Experience and Education
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Business
+ 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
