Job Description
The Process Engineer works alongside the Engineering and Production teams to maximize yields, improve safety, and enhance ergonomics through data collection and analysis. The role involves using CAD software to create and update drawings and parts related to all production projects.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality.Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams (PFDs).Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes, identify areas of improvement, and recommend solutions.Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures, and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.Stay up to date with the latest advancements in manufacturing technologies, methodologies, and best practices.Facilitate cross-functional team meetings to communicate project milestones and timelines.Perform additional duties as assigned.Attend all mandatory meetings.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.2+ years of work experience as a Process Engineer.2+ years of work experience within the food and beverage manufacturing industry.Basic knowledge of Lean Six Sigma.Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software.Experience with process automation.Expert knowledge of production management systems, machinery, and tools used in a manufacturing environment.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.Work Environment
This position is based in a Food & Beverage Manufacturing Plant. The role involves working with various production management systems, machinery, and tools commonly used in a manufacturing environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $43.26/hr.
