The Role
As a Process Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Working within exciting large-scale nuclear design, manufacture and support projects.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be ensuring that, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities; as well as producing calculations, analyses, drawings, models, design base documentation and technical reports:

 

Working in accordance with the Being Cavendish Nuclear Principles. Supervising designers in the production of drawings and engineering models. Producing technical specifications, providing technical support throughout the design, construction,  installation, commissioning, operation and decommissioning phases of the project to ensure that the Design Intent is maintained. Carrying out design risk assessments Reviewing design changes.

 

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel to Warrington or Bristol, on a weekly basis alongside home working arrangements.

 

Essential Experience of the Process Engineer: 

Ability to work collaboratively in multi-discipline teams to deliver activities on a range of project types. Experience in covering a variety of tasks across a range of complexities. Good communications skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines. Ideally, you will have experience in the nuclear industry but, this is not essential.

 

Qualifications for the Process Engineer: 

You must hold a chemical engineering or equivalent / similar degree. Ideally, you will be working towards chartered status or be willing to do so.

 

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
