Job Title: Process Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will develop and debug processes for production and developmental castings, pursue continuous improvement of existing processes, and provide technical support to customers. This role involves working with a team of engineers and the manufacturing team to ensure the highest yield and lowest overall cost product while meeting or exceeding customer-defined quality requirements.

ResponsibilitiesFollow all safety regulations and work rules as outlined in the company's handbook and department-specific requirements.Develop and debug processes for production and developmental castings.Actively pursue the continuous improvement of existing processes.Provide technical support to customers and interact with them regarding technical concerns.Comply with all company attendance policies and guidelines, including regular attendance and some overtime.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsRead, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.Effectively write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.Present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Apply mathematical operations to tasks such as frequency distribution, test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations with limited standardization.Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to achieve goals.Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Motivated to continuously drive improvement in the assigned portfolio of parts.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Metallurgical or Materials Engineering is preferred.Coursework or equivalent experience in basic statistical and analytical tools.Minimum of 3 years of experience in Engineering or related field work.Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
