You help manufacturing line leaders deliver on Mondelēz International’s safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets to ensure processes run smoothly by coaching line teams and using tools to eliminate losses, troubleshoot line problems and improve systems.

How you will contribute

You are a key ingredient in helping us change how the world snacks. You will work closely with line leaders to ensure that Mondelēz International meets our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets on our manufacturing lines to ensure processes run smoothly. Most of your time will be spent working independently on the manufacturing floor, identifying and fixing problems, improving systems, and being responsible for your equipment, but you will also be responsible for statistical processing control and will lead small-group activities to build line team capabilities to eliminate losses.

What we expect from you:

The Process Improvement Analysis/Process Engineer will own the loss intelligence and loss elimination agenda in all dimension of manufacturing Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale across his/her manufacturing lines within the East York Bakery with a special focus on improving equipment reliability and waste reductionThe Process Improvement Analysis/Process Engineer will partner with manufacturing colleagues and other functional departments to identify opportunities and implement solutions to drive continuous improvement

 

Who is a good fit?

Bachelor's degree is required (ideally Engineering, Industrial, Mechanical, and Chemical Engineering)Must possess at least 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a high-performance manufacturing work environment in food, pharmaceutical, and/or automotive industryExperience in loss analysis and waste reduction are desired.Green Belt is an asset.Familiar with TPM or Integrated Lean Six SigmaPrevious experience leading, motivating, and engaging teamsPassion for improving the safety culture and the quality of our productsDetail oriented and understand the value of bringing science and engineering to manufacturing Self-driven and able to work with low or minimum supervisionVery strong analytical and computer skills Demonstrated project management experience is an asset to effectively act as a change leader throughout all levels of the organizationAbility to challenge the status quo and work effectively with a wide array of plant personnelAvailable to work Monday through Friday during office hours. Flexibility to support his/her core teams during the off-hours due to specific (planned and/or unplanned)Willingness to learn, grow, and build a sweet career path at Mondelēz
