The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking is seeking a Process Engineer located in Berkeley, MO.
You will join the Air Dominance Digital and Systems Engineering Core Team. You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with U.S. export regulations within the Air Dominance Digital and Systems Engineering Core Team. Some of the work you can expect to be tasked with involves reviewing and approving export documentation, providing expert guidance on export compliance matters, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold Boeing's commitment to regulatory compliance.
Position Responsibilities:
Review and approve export licenses, agreements, and documentation in accordance with ITAR and EAR regulations.Provide expert guidance on export compliance issues to engineering and program teams.Conduct compliance assessments and audits of export activities within the Air Dominance Core.Develop and deliver training programs on export compliance for team members and stakeholders.Collaborate with legal, compliance, and program management teams to address export-related inquiries and issues.Monitor changes in export regulations and ensure that the team is informed and compliant.Assist in the development and implementation of export compliance policies and procedures.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.2+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree and work-related experienceBasic knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations OR export compliance and their application in a corporate environmentPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with Team CenterCertification in export compliance (e.g., Certified Export Compliance Professional).Experience with digital engineering and systems engineering processes.Familiarity with Boeing’s products and services within the defense sector.Minimum of 2 years of experience in export compliance or related fields, preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.Typical Education/Experience:
Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
