Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the BaseOps engineering team supporting various service operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Process Engineer
**Location:** Foster City, CA
**Pay Range:** $60-68/h + Benefits
**What's the Job?**
+ Design, develop, and optimize service processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
+ Provide technical assistance to service teams, addressing process issues related to repair procedures, tools, spare parts, and equipment.
+ Analyze repair data to identify trends and areas for improvement, using statistical methods and process mapping techniques.
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of process improvements.
+ Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials for service processes.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or a related field).
+ Minimum of 5 years of process engineering experience, preferably within the automotive sector.
+ Proficient in process mapping, data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Minitab), and CAD software.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent.
