The Process Engineer for Cytiva is responsible for all pre-order and execution steps the teams provid a significant advantage as we can act in the local time zone, local language and with detailed specific local customer specification and regulatory know how. This position is part of the Custom Engineering Korea team located in Seoul / Songdo and will be hybrid. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Analyze customer process user requirements specification for engineered process equipment (including different technologies such as direct flow filtration, tangential flow filtration, chromatography etc.) used in the Biopharmaceutical industry. + As member or technical lead of a project team discuss, propose, define final engineered technical system solution with the customer including writing technical part of quotation and associated costing. + After Order placement execute the proposed engineered system solution based on agreed and defined contractual specification together with a defined project team as project manager or process engineer. Ensure/contribute to projects are delivered in accordance to specification, on time and within budget. + Take ownership of very complex technical tasks and issues. + Manage and coordinate small to mid-size projects + Manage and coordinate multi-unit operation solution projects. The essential requirements of the job include: + BSc/MSc or equivalent in Biochemical engineering, Process engineering, chemical engineering or equivalent. A higher degree or secondary degree in a related subject would be preferred. + Hold a current driving license & able to travel abroad + Experience of working with outside subcontractors including mechanical fabricators, electronic fabricators, software designers and automation experts. + Ability to communicate effectively on complex technical / engineering issues at the highest level- Cytiva internal stakeholders as well as with the customer. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Experience in qualification activities (FAT/SAT) for process equipment in the biopharmaceutical industry. + Direct experience of working in the Biotech industry would be preferred. + Language skills: verbal and written communication proficiency in Korean and English. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Language/ Environment Requirements: + In-country travelling is mostly required to move to other site including customer sites.
