Are you ready to take on the role of Process Engineer II for a major petrochemical company? As a key member of our team, you will lead the design and optimization of process specifications and provide technical oversight for engineering projects. This is a full-time contract position with a leading company in Annandale, New Jersey.
Role Overview
Lead Design Team: Oversee junior engineers in the development of process design specifications. Process Optimization: Identify and evaluate cost-saving opportunities and safety requirements. Technical Oversight: Ensure consistency with company guidelines and project specifications. Hazard & Operability Reviews: Participate in reviews for new or modified facilities. Commissioning & Start-Up Assistance: Provide support for new or modified facilities. Organization & Staffing: Establish processes for efficient project management.Skills & Qualifications
Chemical Engineering: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Petrochemical Industry Experience: Previous experience in petroleum refining or chemical process industry preferred. Capital Project Development: Knowledge of project development processes and procedures. Adaptability: Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. Microsoft Office 365 Admin Center: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software programs. Fluent English: Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and business communications.Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent required. Certifications: Relevant certifications in process engineering or project management preferred. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in petrochemical industry or with an engineering contractor.Pay & Benefits
