Process Engineer - LDPE
Job Purpose:
As an experienced Process Engineer, you will apply a variety of standard technical problem-solving techniques, monitor and analyze processes, and contribute to solving operational issues. You will assist senior professionals while receiving guidance and supervision based on detailed work reviews.
Job Summary:
Perform tasks that require the application of standard technical problem-solving methods and computational techniques. Undertake assignments of varying scope and complexity. Assist senior engineers and contribute to process optimization through data analysis and recommendations. Provide guidance and support to junior team members. Education:
Degree or Diploma in a relevant engineering field, combined with practical experience. Experience:
5 years of experience with a Degree, or 10 years of experience with a Diploma is desirable. Certifications:
Working towards Chartered/Professional Engineer qualification or membership. Job Responsibilities:
Maintain high Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring a safe work environment and best practices at all times. Validate standard internal and third-party process design work for compliance with established standards and procedures. Review and evaluate technical bid proposals for engineering work, noting deviations and reporting conclusions. Escalate emerging and complex plant issues to senior engineers to ensure timely resolution. Participate in projects and ensure alignment of tasks to project schedules/plans, delivering within time, cost, and quality constraints. Review and analyze plant, process, and engineering data, recommending changes to optimize operations. Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster their development. Carry out conventional engineering tasks requiring broad application of engineering knowledge, regulations, and standards. Develop a range of engineering plans and supporting documentation with guidance from senior engineers when needed. Competencies:
