Define, deploy and maintain printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) manufacturing processes
Debug and evaluate manufacturing results, perform yield and throughput analysis, drive improvements and provide actionable feedback for incorporation into future designs
As necessary, analyze design of manufacturing line, drive design and validation of stencils, manufacturing fixtures, evaluate and specify equipment including but not limited to solder paste/printing/jetting, pick and place machines, reflow ovens, inspection, etc., ESD processes and procedures, component handling and tracking
Deliver assembled, high quality PCBAs on time and within budget
Provide PCBA manufacturing input and plans for design reviews acting as an expert in design for assembly, manufacturing, repair and rework
Collaborate with design team to transition PCBA from development to manufacturing and works very closely to the team in defining design for assembly guidelines.
Support selection of PCB/PCBA manufacturing partners and develop relationships that improve the analysis response, cost, agility and flexibility/ability to support multiple designs
As required, provide on-site technical support for critical process and product issue
