Position Description
Primary Purpose:
The Senior Process Engineer reports to the Director - Engineering and will provide technical support activities such as gas conditioning, NGL/Condensate recovery, dehydration, hydrocarbon dew point control, Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) treating, process modeling and optimization, and project management.

Education:
B.S. or advanced degree in Chemical or Petroleum EngineeringExperience / Specific Knowledge (Preferred):
5-7 years of demonstrated Oil and Gas industry experience. Process Engineering experience is preferredProficiency in using process simulation software such as ProMax to design and troubleshoot gas-treating equipmentAbility to meet deadlines and provide deliverables for multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work with a variety of different groups throughout the organizationAbility to communicate through written technical and non-technical reports, email, and public speaking when requiredExperience designing, evaluating, and troubleshooting Amine and TEG Dehydrator units, and Condensate / NGL Stabilizers plants is required. Experience with Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) processing is preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, mass transfer, and fluid mechanics.Familiarity with the mechanical design (piping stress analysis and skid design) is a plusPMP certification is a plusCompetencies, Skills, and Abilities:
Teamwork, communication, and problem-solvingAbility to size process control equipment (PSV, control valves, pressure regulator)Ability to review/create Cause & Effect charts and Instrument Data SheetsStrong knowledge of P&ID development, Isometric, and GA drawings is requiredMust demonstrate initiative and self-motivationMust be able to accept direction and supervision and work effectively and cooperatively with all personnel and customersAbility to lead and manage people in maintaining, changing, and improving performance in the areas of safety, operational excellence, and risk reductionAbility to effectively communicate using both verbal and written forms of communication with internal and external partiesEffective computer skills (MS Word, EXEL, PowerPoint, and MS Project)
Working Conditions:
The regular work environment is typically in an office.
