What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: 

Help evaluate ERP, MRP and MES systems/functions, including new and emerging technologies, for business applicability in a manufacturing environment.  Participate or lead on project teams in the implementation of new solutions and enhancements that support strategic and operational objectives, including parts and process standardization, change management, configuration management, data management, equipment lifecycle management, releases and information access.

Maintain current and/or develop processes and systems.  Support user training and facilitate user compliance with requirements.

Resolve system and process issues.

Help to identify and support business process improvements.  Provide process support to other enterprise functions such as manufacturing, parts, cost accounting, cost management, etc.

Act within the scope of all CAEP’s customers long range plans, annual plans, business objectives and policies to accomplish goals.

Develop training materials for supported systems and processes.  Provide a means to train users.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferably in Industrial or Mechanical, preferably 5-6 years relevant injection molding plastic processing experience.

Experience with water/ gas injection, over molding experience, in-mold labeling and extrusion experience is a plus.

Must be an excellent listener, paired with strong communication skills.  Ability to present ideas clearly and express point of view.

Shows ability to collaborate with engineering system/program users across an enterprise in order to achieve project goals.

Able to solve engineering related problems when given minimal direction and leadership.  Proven ability to learn and adapt.

Preferrable skills:

Mold Master II certification

Experience with extrusion

Experience with SMED, PFMEA, SPC, lean and NPD.

Experience with SAP, CAD and/or Windchill software.

Other Job-Related Components:

Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.

Works in an office environment.

Possibility for hybrid schedule.
