Job Description
[Albemarle] is hiring for a [Process Engineering Engineer/Manager]. This position is, in-office and located in [Taichung, Taiwan].
What You Will Do
Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for new process/facility design and optimization.Collaborate with R&T, manufacturing, project teams and other internal or external stakeholders such as engineering company to develop, reach consensus, and finally to conclude new design of process/facility.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and implementation of new processes, technologies, equipment and facility.Analyzing existing process data, and proposing solutions for new process development.Management requests of stakeholder such as supply chain, manufacturing, product management, and sales to reach consensus of new process/facility.Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements in all process engineering activities.What You Bring
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial or similar).5+ years of experience as a process engineering engineer in a manufacturing or project implement environment.Knowledge of chemical process.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.Knowledge of process safety, risk assessment, and compliance with regulatory standards.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Experience in chemical plant, or EPC company with chemical plant construction.Strong English capabilityPreferred:
Master’s degree in chemical process engineering or a related field.Knowledge of PMP.Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) tools.Good interpersonal skillsExperience of production either process engineer or leading a production team.Benefits of Joining Albemarle
